Save the date!  Over the summer we were lucky enough to host Blue Fuse – an amazing combo of Maine musicians in love with the sound of Django Reinhardt. We’ve invited them back to brighten up our winter and we’re preparing a French feast as well!

Blue Fuse plays contemporary and classic Gypsy Swing from the Hot Club Jazz era of Paris in the 30s and 40s. You have heard the tunes before but probably did not know that it was called Gypsy Jazz.

Blue Fuse plays the classics of the genre and contemporary adaptations adding in Latin beats and surprises. Accordion, guitars, bass, vocals and lively banter. They can be found haunting coffee houses, festivals, seedy jazz dives, distilleries and private cocktail parties on ocean verandas and the occasional less seedy Meetinghouse all around New England.

Dinner will be your choice of either the classic Coquilles Saint Jaques – MAINE Scallops smothered with mushroom, shallots, cream, and gruyere cheese or Tagliatelle with walnuts & lemon. Served with salad and bread. We’ll have some French wines and other cocktails to whet your whistle.  Show only is $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Dinner and show is $43 for scallops and $35 for the Tagliatelle.
