Valentine’s Day at the Meetinghouse! Bring your little Liebchen!

DaPonte String Quartet is coming to Georgetown for a special Valentine’s Day treat! The DSQ will be performing Bach’s Goldberg Variations, a piece originally written for keyboard and most notably played by Glen Gould in the late 60’s, but now arranged for a string trio. In honor of Bach, we will offer a German themed prix fixe three course meal that recognizes the origin of the composition in Leipzig in 1741! The dinner will start in our downstairs dining room at 6 PM and will finish in time for the concert upstairs at 7:30! Dinner seating is limited so reserve early. As always, wine and beer will be available for sale.

Show only tickets are available as well. Doors for the show will open at 7:15 and the bar will stay open after the show if you wish to enjoy a glass of wine.

The Dinner and show combination is $90 which includes tax and gratuity. Show only tickets are $25.

To Start: German Cheese Plate – cheese & charcuterie, kraut, pickle, house-made pretzel

To Continue: Beef Short Rib Pot Roast – black vinegar sauce, mashed potatoes, red cabbage

To Finish: German Chocolate Cake – coconut, pecans, caramel sauce, shortbread
