On August 31 join the Abitare Project and Chef Ali Waks Adams for our next Classical Music Pairing Dinner – Revolution!

Revolutionary times call for innovative solutions. Each of the composer’s we chose for this pairing expanded the medium of music, each one revolutionizing the sonic palette and forever changing the composition of sound. You’ll hear Ravel using extended techniques to color his musical canvas, Kodaly, Bartok and Martinu plumbing the depths of the Hungarian countryside to help preserve and honor their cherished folk music feared soon to be lost as the onset of the great war threatened to homogenize the musical landscape. And of course, Bach, revolutionizing and codifying the very harmonic foundation of what would be forever after what is considered tonal music. Chef Ali Waks will tease out the revolutionary ideas represented here in bold ways that will forever revolutionize how you pair the experience of hearing your favorite cuisine, tasting the most beautiful of music.
