Louise Bichan returns to the Meetinghouse with a special personal project!

“Out of My Own Light” focuses on the story of Margaret Sarah Tait, Grandmother and her adventures traveling from Orkney to Canada as a young woman, taking six months to visit relatives and make a difficult life decision. Following in her grandmother’s footsteps, some 60 years later, Louise Bichan returned to Scotland inspired and armed with stories. Bichan composed and recorded music with a stellar cast of musicians, which were released alongside a book of photographs and collection of videos.

Also featuring Katie McNally on fiddle and Ethan Setiawan on octave mandolin.

Dinner option will be miso glazed salmon & winter veg  or a Squash stew with coconut, chili & coriander with salad. $37 or $35 includes admission, tax and tip. Admission $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Doors open at 6 PM for dinner.
